The candidate for this degree usually must complete one full year
of courses at either of the Rutgers law schools before applying to
Rutgers Business School: Graduate Programs-Newark and New Brunswick
(RBS). The GMAT test is required.
If accepted, the student may
substitute two law school courses for 22:835:510 and 22:835:511
(Business Law I and II) and may substitute two additional courses for
22:835:603 (Income Taxation) and for 22:835:605 (Corporate Taxation),
provided the law courses offered for substitution have substantially
covered the material in the two RBS tax courses. Candidates for this
degree should apply and plan to enroll in the summer trimester after
completing two years of law school. This will permit the student to
complete the professional accounting M.B.A. program in the third year
of study, and to return to the law school program during the fourth
year.
