Management Science and Information Systems Core Requirement

All majors are required to maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 2.75 and complete the following required courses:

Management Science and Information Systems Electives

All majors are required to complete three of the following courses:

29:623:335 Data Warehousing and Data Mining (3)

29:623:345 Cyber Security (3)

29:623:355 Web and Data Management (3)
29:623:356 Studies in MIS (3)
29:623:357 Systems Simulation (3)
29:623:358 Decision Support Systems (3)

29:623:496 Management Internship (3) (must complete internship form and consult with the RBS Office of Career Management in advance of starting the internship to receive credit)

29:623:498 Independent Management Projects (6 credits: 3 credits will count toward Management Science and Information Systems elective credit and 3 credits will count toward free elective credit). Internship program for six months (January to June, or June to December) at a participating corporation. Students must complete the co-op form and consult with a RBS OCM in advance of starting the co-op to receive credit. Prerequisites: 29:010:204, 29:390:329, 29:620:300, 29:630:301, and junior standing.

29:623:499 Independent Management Projects (must complete the independent study form, receive signatures from faculty and MIS department chair, and consult with an academic advisor to receive credit)
