Academic Advising

All Rutgers Business School: Undergraduate-Newark (RBS) students are assigned an RBS academic advisor. Students are expected to meet with their assigned advisor at least once per academic year to ensure that they are completing all academic requirements and making satisfactory progress toward degree completion.

Academic advisement is a collaborative educational process; students and their advisors are partners in meeting the essential learning goals that support student success. Academic advisement is not an event, but a process, with the student taking the lead and responsibility for his or her academic career; the advisors provide the students with the tools, direction, and appropriate referrals to assist students in meeting their academic goals.

RBS Advisors/Program Coordinators:

Amy Castillo, Assistant Dean

Ben Lohmann, Assistant Dean

Lisa Ahn, Academic Advisor

Shirnel Jean Baptiste, Academic Advisor

Armanda Cerqueira, Academic Advisor

Additional RBS advisor information can be found at: https://myrbs.business.rutgers.edu/undergraduate-newark/meet-advisor.
