This accelerated master of business administration (M.B.A.) program makes it possible for students to earn a baccalaureate degree from Newark College of Arts and Sciences and a master of business administration degree from Rutgers Business School: Graduate Programs-Newark and New Brunswick. The program is designed for the highly motivated student who, at an early stage, has decided to pursue a career in management. Program requirements are:

1. a minimum of 94 undergraduate credits in liberal arts subjects, including satisfactory completion of the general requirements of Newark College of Arts and Sciences;

2. satisfactory completion of both calculus and statistics (B or better) prior to their senior year; and

3. a cumulative grade-point average of 3.3 or better at Newark College of Arts and Sciences and a Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) score in the top quartile.

Careful planning is necessary to complete the undergraduate requirements specified within a 100-credit framework. Accordingly, the program is ordinarily open only to students who matriculate as first-year students at Newark College of Arts and Sciences or to those who transfer with no more than 30 credits.
