Admission requirements for the joint
bachelor of arts or bachelor of science and master of public administration (B.A.
or B.S./M.P.A.) degree are:

Completion
of 90 undergraduate credits including all core curriculum and/or major requirements in any discipline

Permission
of major academic department

Cumulative
grade-point average of 3.2 or higher

Submission
of internal application for early admission to M.P.A. degree (in junior year)

Graduate
Record Examination (GRE) test score (waived, if cumulative GPA is 3.000 or higher
)

Submission
of online admission application documents (application, personal
statement, current résumé, three recommendation letters, official
undergraduate transcript)
Documents for early admission should be filed within the first semester of the
applicant's junior year. Once the applicant receives notice that they qualify
for the joint program, they will be permitted to begin courses in the M.P.A.
degree program in the second semester of the junior year.
Courses taken as an
undergraduate are counted toward both the undergraduate and graduate degrees
(must earn a grade of B or better to count towards graduate
degree). M.P.A. courses taken as an undergraduate are charged at the undergraduate
tuition rate during the fall and spring semesters only.
