A Diversified Student Body

Nearly 60 percent of the college's 1,500 students are members of minority groups; more than half are women. Nearly one-third of University College's students are between the ages of 24 and 34.

Most of the college's students are candidates for a baccalaureate degree, but some are college graduates who are pursuing a second bachelor's degree or who plan to go on to graduate school in a different area of study. Others enroll in selected courses in areas of professional or personal interest without establishing degree candidacy.
