To enhance the scope of education and the opportunities available to undergraduate students, the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) and the Newark Campus of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey (Rutgers–Newark), offer their students the option of pursuing a dual major in select fields at the two institutions.
Students at either Rutgers–Newark or NJIT may elect to pursue a dual (or second) major at the corresponding institution. Acceptance into a program will be determined entirely by the host institution program, but will be consistent and uniform with practices in place for home institution students. General education requirements are completed at the home institution.
