About the College of Nursing

The primary purposes of the College of Nursing are to provide baccalaureate education for those entering the profession of nursing and for those registered nurses wishing to obtain a baccalaureate degree; to provide graduate education at the master's and doctoral levels; to generate research and scholarly activities in the field of nursing and health care; to contribute to the improvement of the delivery of health and nursing services to the public; to foster and enhance the image of nursing within the university, and more broadly, to participate actively in projects and activities aimed at improving the health of all citizens.
