Academic Program Requirements

Rutgers Business School: Undergraduate-Newark (RBS) offers five majors leading to the bachelor of science (B.S.) degree: accounting (010), finance (390), management and global business (620), management information systems (625), and marketing (630); and a concentration in management information systems.

RBS students are jointly enrolled in the Newark College of Arts and Sciences and the Rutgers Business School: Undergraduate-Newark. Therefore, to earn the B.S. degree, students must complete course requirements in five broad areas:

1. A liberal arts requirement

2. RBS prerequisite core requirement

3. Business curriculum core requirement

4. Major core requirements 

5. Elective requirement in order to complete a total of 124 credits
