Applicants whose preparatory courses do not meet the formal
requirement of 16 specified units, but who show promise, may qualify
for admission by examination. Those with a GED, and prospective
candidates who have not completed high school or who have a diploma
from a nonaccredited high school, may apply for admission by
examination. Such candidates must take three Achievement Tests of the
College Board, as well as the SAT or ACT required of all candidates.
The achievement tests required are English, mathematics, and a science
(either biology or chemistry).
