Financial Aid Overview
The law school is committed to providing students with the highest-quality legal education at an affordable cost. We are also committed to helping students plan for and meet the expenses associated with attaining their J.D. degree. The school's financial aid office works with students to help identify and evaluate the different sources of financial support available. It also provides individualized financial aid and credit counseling on request.

The law school assists students in financing their legal education through a variety of resources. These include scholarships; grants; Title IV federal programs such as Direct Stafford Loans, Graduate PLUS Loans, and Federal Work-Study; private educational loans, and outside scholarship funding. The majority of law students receive some measure of financial aid from one or more of these sources. The amount of support depends on each student's individual circumstances and on the availability of funds. For most graduate students, educational loans will comprise the largest portion of their financial aid package.

Students must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year to be considered for need-based institutional scholarships and for Title IV aid.
