PILF, the Public Interest Law Foundation, at Rutgers' School of Law-Newark is a unique, student-run, nonprofit organization charged with the primary task of raising funds that are provided to students with summer positions in the public interest field. PILF grants allow students to pursue unpaid domestic and international internship opportunities in government, community, and private organizations. PILF also works on campus to increase awareness of public interest law and the benefits of community involvement.
