Students enrolled in other accredited law schools may be permitted
to take courses at the School of Law-Newark with the earned credit
transferred to the student's home law school. Applications are accepted
for fall and spring semesters. A cumulative grade-point average of
2.0/C or better is required.
Special admission decisions
are based on the number of available seats and the student's hardship
necessitating the request. Only third-year students are considered. To apply, candidates must submit a Special Student Admissions Application form available from the admissions office, a $60 application fee, a letter of permission from the dean of their home law school, and an official law school transcript or a grade sheet.
