The candidate for this degree usually must complete one full year of courses at the law school before applying to Rutgers Business School: Graduate Programs-Newark and New Brunswick. The GMAT is required.
If accepted, the student may transfer 12 credits toward the J.D. degree from the master of accountancy curriculum courses related to the law. Candidates for this degree should apply and plan to enroll in the summer semester after completing two years of law school. This will permit the student to complete the master of accountancy program in the third year of study, and to return to the law school program during the fourth year.
