The Rutgers Student Lawyers Guild is a chapter of the National
Lawyers Guild, an association dedicated to the need for basic change in
the structure of our political and economic systems. The Rutgers
chapter sponsors progressive educational programs on such topics as the
Roe v. Wade abortion decision and capital punishment. It also
works to ensure that the school is sensitive to the needs of
minorities, women, and working-class students.
