Change of Registration and Withdrawals

The schedule for any change of registration and of withdrawals without academic penalty is as follows:

1.  Adding courses: from registration through the eighth calendar day of the semester

2.  Dropping courses: from registration through the ninth week of classes. Courses dropped through the seventh calendar day of the semester are deleted from the student's record. Courses dropped from the eighth calendar day of the semester through the ninth week result in a W grade.

Withdrawal from College. Students may withdraw from college through the 12th week of classes, but they must get the signature of the dean to do so. A student who drops a course without notifying the registrar automatically receives a grade of F in that course. A student who withdraws from school without notifying the registrar automatically receives a grade of F in all courses. No withdrawals of any sort are permitted during the last two weeks of classes. Students who leave the university during this period are still considered officially enrolled and receive final grades for the semester.
