Certificate Program

The certificate in science and technology management provides business and business-oriented courses intended to supplement training in a science, mathematics, or engineering degree.

Students currently enrolled in master of science (M.S.), doctor of philosophy (Ph.D.), and postdoctoral programs in science, mathematics, and engineering are eligible to apply for the certificate and will be awarded the certificate upon completion of the 19 credits. Students who already possess a graduate degree in science, mathematics, or engineering may also apply independently for the certificate program. Individuals who have worked in industry for at least five years are eligible to apply for the certificate program as part-time students.

There are five required courses (13 credits) and two elective courses (6 credits). See the Courses page in this section for the required courses. The full list of elective courses is available at http://psm.rutgers.edu. See also the entry in this catalog for Business and Science 137.
