As part of its ongoing commitment to academic excellence, Rutgers School of Nursing offers a School Nurse Certificate. The certificate program is designed for professional registered nurses who wish to be certified in school nursing in the state of New Jersey. Certification is offered as a postbaccalaureate program for registered nurses with a bachelor of arts, bachelor of science, or bachelor of science in nursing degree. This program is accredited by the New Jersey Department of Education.
A grade-point average of 3.0 is preferred from the student's baccalaureate degree. Students should apply using the undergraduate application.
