Elective Courses

45:705:669 Transforming from Student to Nurse Leader (3) This course is designed to provide a planned program for new baccalaureate prepared nurses to transition from school to practice by applying the knowledge/evidence and skills in delivering safe and effective quality care. The focus of this course includes leadership theory, communication principles, and quality/safety tools that are evidence-based to support practice. This course will provide the new nurse with a structured framework for continual learning at a graduate level. 
Only open to students in the RWJUH-Rutgers residency program.
