Clinical Agencies

Both undergraduate and graduate nursing students, under the guidance of the School of Nursing faculty and preceptors, care for selected clients in a variety of primary, acute, and chronic health care settings. Rutgers School of Nursing students participate in specific clinical/practicum experiences as part of their education and coursework. Clinical/practicum placements are secured through collaboration by students, faculty, and health care organizations. More than 200 cooperating institutions and agencies provide clinical and practicum experiences for both undergraduate and graduate nursing students.
