Dismissal

Students may be dismissed for subsequent failure to meet grade-point average standards after receiving a previous suspension. Dismissed students are not ordinarily eligible to return to any matriculating program or unit within the School of Arts and Sciences. This policy is designed to prevent students from continuing to pay tuition when, mathematically, they cannot achieve a 2.0 GPA within the 120 credits required for graduation.
