Public history explores interpretations of the past produced for the
general public in a variety of different settings such as museums, archives,
historical preservation, monuments, etc. The certificate in public history
consists of the following five courses:
1. History Workshop 506:299
2. Public History 506:301
3. Introduction to Oral History 506:302 or a class on digital humanities (506:299 and 506:301 should be prerequisites for either of these two classes)
