Transfer students wishing to major in Russian language and literature must take at least eight of their 12 courses (above 101) at Rutgers.
That is, the program will accept no more than 4 transfer credit courses toward the Russian major. Exceptions are be made only in rare cases, and require the
permission of the program director.
Transfer students wishing to minor in Russian language,
Russian literature, or Russian language and literature must take at least four of
their six courses (above 101) at Rutgers. That is, the program will accept no
more than 2 transfer credit courses toward the Russian minor, in any of its
three tracks. Exceptions are be made only in rare cases, and require the
permission of the program director.
