The art minor creates a space
for nonmajor students who wish to explore their artistic interests alongside
their academic pursuits and professional goals within the stimulating creative
climate of Mason Gross School of the Arts.
A portfolio is not required for
admission to the art minor. To declare, one of the following courses must
be completed with a grade of C or better: 07:081:121,122,227, or 228. To
maintain status, students must adhere to a C or better grade
requirement for all courses in the minor. Because studio courses are
sequential, students are advised to declare a minor by the first semester of
their junior year to allow for adequate time to complete the art minor.
The art minor is available to students at the School of Arts and Sciences and the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences.
