Programs of Study

The Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy offers five programs of study. The planning and public policy major leads to a bachelor of arts (B.A.) degree and the health administration, public health, public policy, and urban planning and design majors lead to a bachelor of science (B.S.) degree. All of the majors are available to students who directly transfer into the Bloustein School, as well as to students in the School of Arts and Sciences. Students in the School of Biological and Environmental Sciences are offered the public health major.

Exceptional, well-prepared students who are admitted to the Bloustein School may be invited by the faculty to pursue dual-degree programs (B.A. or B.S./M.P.H. for public health, B.A. or B.S./ M.P.P. for public policy, or B.A. or B.S./M.C.R.P. for city and regional planning).
