Six courses (18 credits) are required for the minor in
geography. This includes two of the following three courses: 01:450:101, 102,
and 103, and four other courses, at least three from one track and one from a
remaining track.
The tracks are:
1) Global Culture, Economics,
and Society (450:205, 222, 240, 262, 309,
330, 331, 332, 334, 335, 336, 338, 341, 342, 361, 363, 402, 405, 406, 411,
470);
2) Environment (450:211, 214, 306,
307, 311,
330, 331, 360, 370, 402, 403, 404, 413, 414, 417);
and
3) Geographical Techniques (450:208,
320, 321, 322, 330, 355, 356, 357, 402, 421, 487, 488).
Depending on the content of the
course, the following may be applied to any track at the discretion of the undergraduate
director:
450:270, 271, 272, 485, 486, 491, 492, 495, and 496. Nine of these 12-track credits must be at the 300 or 400
levels. No more than one course with the grade of D can be applied
toward the minor.
