Health Professions

All students in the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences are eligible for the services of the Health Professions Office on the Busch Campus in Nelson Biology Laboratories A-207. This office advises all Rutgers students interested in careers in medicine, dentistry, and related health professions. In addition to advising, the office maintains the student's file and letters of evaluation, supplies application materials for examinations and professional schools, coordinates workshops, and publishes a monthly newsletter of events and deadlines. The office also maintains a library of materials pertaining to careers in the health professions.

All students in the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences wishing to pursue a career in the health professions must register with the Health Professions Office as early in their academic career as possible to begin maintaining a file. The Office of Academic Programs in the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences also provides individual counseling pertaining to health careers. Interested students should contact the Office of Academic Programs, Martin Hall, Room 205.
