New Brunswick Undergraduate Catalog 2007-2009 School of Communication, Information and Library Studies (SCILS) General Information Admission

Admission

SCILS requires application to its majors separate from the one through which students apply to the university. Students already enrolled at a Rutgers four-year school as well as new transfer students may obtain the most up-to-date information about SCILS admission procedures from the SCILS website (http://www.scils.rutgers.edu).

Students' applications, transcripts, and written statements are reviewed by an admissions committee to determine suitability for admission. The faculty of the school is committed to admitting a highly motivated and diverse student body to the undergraduate programs.

At the time of publication of this catalog, minors are not offered in any of the SCILS programs.
