Students seeking to major in labor studies and employment relations must apply for admission to the School of Management and Labor Relations through a procedure separate from the one through which they apply to the university.
Students must be admitted to the School of Arts and Sciences to be accepted into the School of Management and Labor Relations. Students are required to write a one-page application letter explaining why the applicant wishes to pursue a labor studies and employment relations major; have earned a 2.0 grade-point average or better in their college work taken to date; and demonstrated that they have an adequate academic record in the introduction to labor studies course.
