The department sponsors the Africana Studies Scholars Project, a two-semester, 12-credit (01:014:497-498; 6,6) senior-year course for honors majors in the discipline. To be eligible, students must have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or better and a cumulative grade-point average of 3.4 or better in Africana studies by the end of the junior year.
