Members of the faculty and staff at Rutgers-New Brunswick who have a particular interest in the mission of Douglass College serve as fellows. The fellows constitute the governing body of the college. Among their broad areas of responsibility are curricular matters, such as the establishment and implementation of college admissions policy and general education, distribution, and graduation requirements; recommendation of the professional courses and programs available in the college; teaching of college honors, interdisciplinary, and mission-related courses; serving as general academic advisers; and overseeing student life.
