All other requirements for the doctor of philosophy degree established by the Graduate School-New Brunswick and by the faculty in charge of the student's program, other than the doctoral dissertation and the dissertation examination, must be fulfilled by applicants for the master of philosophy degree. These include completing all doctoral program requirements and passing the qualifying examination.
