Tests

Students applying to the five-year or postbaccalaureate initial teacher certification programs may submit SAT, ACT, Graduate Record Examination (GRE), or Praxis Core scores as part of their application as long as those scores meet the minimum requirement and are not older than five years at the time of application. For information regarding the minimum scores required for each test please visit the Graduate School of Education (GSE) website.

All other degree programs offered by GSE require applicants to submit official GRE scores (general test). The only exceptions to this policy are the master's degree programs in Adult and Continuing Education and Learning, Cognition, and Development, which are test-optional programs.

GRE information and application forms can be obtained at http://www.ets.org or by writing to Graduate Record Examinations, Educational Testing Service, P.O. Box 6000, Princeton, NJ 08541-6000, U.S.A.
