Founded in 1918 as the New Jersey College for Women, Dougllass is the
largest women's in the nation. While maintaining rigorous standards of
instruction in the fundamental disciplines of the liberal arts,
Douglass supports annd develops programms that link major courses of
study to future careers. The college also implements special programs
as well as independent activities designed to help women students
develop the qualities required for achievement in any field of endeavor.
