GCG-GSAPP Community Groups

Organized by students, this initiative began in fall 1998. One to three groups of incoming students address issues such as managing the transition into life at the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology, handling the unique stresses of graduate training, providing opportunities for social interaction, and maintaining a sense of community through enhancing communication across the programs. Participation is encouraged, but optional. Groups are led by upper-year student facilitators who receive faculty supervision.
