The number preceding each course title is divided into three parts.
The first two digits are the administrative code (standing for the
school or faculty offering the course), the next three digits are the
subject code, and the final three digits specify the course code.

Course Codes
Courses coded from 500 to 799 are graduate courses. Usually, fall term
courses end with odd numbers and spring term courses end with even
numbers.
Two course codes separated by a comma indicate that
each term course may be taken independently of the other. Two course
codes separated by a hyphen indicate that satisfactory completion of
the first term course is a prerequisite for the second term; the first
term may be taken for credit without taking the second, except if a
statement is added to indicate that both term courses must be completed
in order to receive credit.
Credits
Credits
awarded for the successful completion of each course are indicated in
parentheses following the course title. The notation E indicates that
the course is experiential, and the credits do not count toward the
total credits required to graduate. However, E credits are listed on
official transcripts and counted in the total number of credits for the
term. Examples of E-credit courses include graduate assistantships,
professional practicum placement (in a work setting), and Psychological
Clinic Practicum (treating clients in the GSAPP clinic under
supervision).
The notation BA indicates that the number
of credits is determined by arrangement with the department offering
the course.
Individual course offerings may vary from year to
year as circumstances dictate. The university reserves the right to
cancel or modify any course or program listed herein.
Individuals who are not matriculated in any of the Psy.D. programs or
the clinical Ph.D. program but who wish to take courses offered by the
Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology should consult
the section on Accessibility to GSAPP Courses in the Academic Policies
and Procedures chapter.
All applications (therapy) courses require a minimum of one case with appropriate supervision.
