Admission

All applicants and interested persons who seek admission or want to learn more about the Rutgers School of Business–Camden (RSBC) are strongly encouraged to review the school's website: http://business.camden.rutgers.edu. The website provides a comprehensive overview of the RSBC and its history, organizational structure, and the many programs, opportunities, and options available to students. Applicants can access detailed information regarding majors available, courses of study, the curriculum, graduation requirements, academic support, student activities, and much, much more.

An admission application, as well as other important information regarding the admissions process, including, but not limited to, admissions criteria, application deadlines, credential submission, and other relevant information, can be obtained via the university's admissions website: http://admissions.rutgers.edu.

Applicants may pursue one of the following options to successfully gain admission to the RSBC:

First-Year Students.  This option is available to applicants who have not completed 12 transferable credits and most often is the route used by high school students who plan to continue their education immediately upon high school graduation. Applicants who seek admission directly into the RSBC from high school should visit the RSBC website to gain valuable information regarding majors available, courses of study, the curriculum, graduation requirements, academic support, student activities, and much, much more.

Transfer Students (non-Rutgers students).  Applicants who wish to transfer directly into RSBC from a regionally accredited collegiate institution other than Rutgers should refer to the RSBC's website for detailed information regarding the curriculum, graduation requirements, and related academic matters. Information about the application process, deadlines, credential requirements, scholarship opportunities, and related matters can be found on the university's admissions website. Transfer students who have completed at least 45 credits with a cumulative GPA of 3.000 are eligible to be admitted directly into the RSBC. Admission into the RSBC does not guarantee admission into a specific major area of study until all the major prerequisite courses have been successfully completed.

School-to-School Transfers (current Rutgers students).
This option is designed for students who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate division of the university and seek admission to the RSBC. An application, as well as information concerning admission requirements, application deadlines, credentials submission, and related matters may be found at the School-to-School Transfer website: http://admissions.rutgers.edu/SchoolToSchool.

Reenrollment and Second-Degree Candidates (former Rutgers students)
.  This option is for former Rutgers students who wish to reenroll to complete their undergraduate studies or seek to complete an additional Rutgers degree. An application, as well as information concerning admission requirements, application deadlines, credentials submission, and related matters may be found at the Reenrollment Application website: https://www.ugadmissions.rutgers.edu/reenrollment.

Second-Degree Candidates (non-Rutgers students).
Applicants who hold a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited collegiate institution other than Rutgers should refer to the RSBC's website for detailed information regarding the curriculum, graduation requirements, and other related academic matters. These applicants will follow the same application procedure outlined above for transfers from non-Rutgers institutions. Information about the application process, deadlines, credential requirements, scholarship opportunities, and related matters can be found on the university's admissions website. Admission into the RSBC does not guarantee admission into a specific major area of study until all major prerequisite courses have been successfully completed.

Nonmatriculated Students.  A nonmatriculated applicant is defined as an undergraduate student not currently enrolled in any undergraduate division of Rutgers University who seeks to enroll in coursework, but does not plan to earn or work toward a degree. Information concerning admission requirements, application deadlines, credentials submission, and related matters may be found at the university's admissions website.

Off-Campus Degree Completion Program Students.
An applicant seeking admission to an off-campus degree completion program is strongly encouraged to review the RSBC website and to speak with the program director. Requirements for admission, graduation, and curriculum may vary dependent upon program. Successful applicants must satisfy one of the three criteria listed below to gain admission.
1) Applicants who have completed a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
2) Applicants from baccalaureate-granting institutions, who have not graduated, will be required to have completed at least 60 credits and have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.00
3) Applicants who have earned an A.A., A.S., or A.A.S. degree from a regionally accredited community college with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00.

Information concerning admission requirements, application deadlines, credentials submission, and related matters may be found at the university's admissions website.
