Any student with an overall grade-point average of 3.0 or better is encouraged to consider applying for the urban studies honors program. Accepted students normally enroll in two semesters of 50:975:498,499 Independent Study. The program consists of a year of intensive research, resulting in an honors thesis produced under the guidance of a program faculty adviser. Interested students should contact the program director during their junior year.
