Rutgers University students are eligible to participate in the Air
Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) through a
cross-enrollment agreement with St. Joseph's University. All aerospace
studies courses will be held on the St. Joseph's campus, City Line
Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The AFROTC program enables a college student
to earn a commission as an Air Force officer while
concurrently completing the requirements for the baccalaureate
degree.
Air Force ROTC offers two-, three-, and four-year
scholarships on a competitive basis to qualified applicants. All
scholarships cover tuition, fees, a flat-rate book allowance, plus a
$100 tax-free monthly stipend. All members of the Professional Officer
Course (POC), regardless of scholarship status, receive the $100
tax-free monthly stipend.
