As in any professional degree program, practical experience is a key
component of the bachelor of arts/master of public administration (B.A./M.P.A.) student's education. A 3-credit internship
is arranged in which each student assists an individual in a public
management role. Internships are closely supervised to ensure that the
student has a worthwhile experience. Paid internships are available for
individuals who qualify for work-study funding.
