Committee on Scholastic Standing

The Committee on Scholastic Standing oversees the implementation of academic regulations, advises students in writing of the decisions taken, and receives such petitions for exemptions from college academic policy as change of courses after the deadlines, course overload, readmission to the college, and retroactive withdrawal from courses and from the college. Ordinarily, the committee considers petitions for retroactive withdrawal no later than one year after the end of the term in which the courses in question were taken. Students wishing to submit a petition to the committee should obtain the proper forms from the Office for Student Development on the second floor of Armitage Hall or at http://www.camden.rutgers.edu/RUCAM/studentaffairs.  Such petitions are considered by the Committee on Scholastic Standing on the basis of technical error, new information, and/or extenuating circumstances. Petitions containing failure in touchtone or webreg should include the registration confirmation. Only fully documented written petitions are considered.
