Focused Learning Modules (FLMs) provide M.B.A. students with deep
coverage of career-focused topics that have immediate application in the
workplace. Each module consist of four courses: one core class (required as part of the M.B.A. program) plus three
electives designed specifically for in-depth knowledge and skill development in
the module topic.
The core M.B.A. curriculum plus Focused Learning Modules are an ideal
balance of breadth and depth needed to develop the strategic and analytical
knowledge and skills for today's competitive business environment.
Focused-learning modules easily fit into the M.B.A. degree program as the core
class plus three electives that are specific to each module.
Professional M.B.A. students are also offered the opportunity to
complete an FLM of their choice. However, the student must complete the entire
42 credit professional M.B.A. curriculum before the student can begin to take the courses to
complete an FLM.
