Community Ambassador Program

Community Ambassadors represent Rutgers and the School of Nursing at community events and special programs. Community Ambassadors have volunteered at hospitals, after-school programs, and soup kitchens. They have also represented the School of Nursing at luncheons, recruitment events, professional conferences, award ceremonies, convocations, and school tours. Community Ambassadors are outgoing and highly motivated students who are diplomatic and willing to engage professionally with the outside community, alumni, and university officials. Becoming a Community Ambassador is the perfect opportunity to network with the larger Rutgers community and the greater Newark and New Brunswick communities.

Students who are interested in becoming a Community Ambassador should apply at http://nursing.rutgers.edu/ambassador/index.html.
