Sigma Theta Tau International

The mission of the honor society of nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International, is advancing world health and celebrating nursing excellence in scholarship, leadership, and service. The Alpha Tau Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International was established at the College of Nursing in 1968 and continues to be the chapter for the School of Nursing. Students who attain high scholastic standing, demonstrate leadership qualities, and show promise of continuing professional achievement are selected for membership by chapter members.
