The
overall goal of both psychiatric rehabilitation bachelor's degree programs is
to prepare competent individuals to work in the psychiatric rehabilitation
field, with the primary objective of working with individuals who have
psychiatric disabilities to achieve their goals and needs in their living,
learning, working, and social environment of choice, in accord with clinical,
legal, ethical, and regulatory guidelines. Additionally, this program is
designed to prepare students to pursue graduate coursework in rehabilitation
counseling, social work, psychology, or other related fields of study.
