Individual Study


Students who wish to engage in special projects or special individual study in areas not covered by regular courses may apply for up to 6 credits of individual study (17:610:591,593). The student must submit a brief statement in writing of his or her proposed investigation, with a preliminary outline of the methodology to be used. The study must be approved by the faculty member who agrees to supervise it. Individual study is normally pursued toward the end of the master of library and information science (M.L.I.S.) program.
