Center on Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC)

Founded in 2007, the Center on Violence Against Women and Children's (VAWC) mission is to work to eliminate physical, sexual, and other forms of violence against women and children and the power imbalances that permit them. These goals are accomplished through a collaborative approach that focuses on multidisciplinary researcheducation, and community engagement.

Our work is focused on the three major branches of the center:

  •  research and evaluation
  •  education
  •  community engagement
