Doctor of Public Health (Dr. P.H.) Curriculum (48 credits) - Leadership, Practice, and Research
Students seeking the Dr.P.H. in leadership, practice, and research degree must complete a minimum of 48 credits, a practice experience, and defend a dissertation. Courses are 3 credits unless otherwise noted.

OTHER CURRICULUM REQUIREMENTS
Transferred courses will not be accepted unless the transferred
courses were taken at a doctoral level, are equivalent to the required
Dr.P.H. in leadership, practice, and research coursework, and meet the
school's transfer credit policy.
A student who does not have an M.P.H. degree from a Council on Education
for Public Health-accredited school or program of public health will
also need to complete the coursework equivalent to the Postbaccalaureate
Certificate in Population Health. The Postbaccalaureate Certificate in
Population Health (15 credits) must be taken before the Dr.P.H.
coursework and must be completed prior to sitting for the Dr.P.H.
qualifying exam.
