The master of science (M.S.) in health outcomes, policy, and economics is sponsored jointly by the Rutgers Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy and the Rutgers School of Public Health and is intended primarily for those who are seeking a rigorous, multidisciplinary graduate program in health outcomes, policy, and economics. Its interdisciplinary curriculum includes coursework in health economics, biostatistics, and health care policy and financing, along with clinical research design. All students will be required to complete a two-semester capstone project, an independent research project guided by a capstone project committee, during their second year.
