Six
3-credit courses (18 credits) are required to
complete the 42-credit curriculum. Specialization courses may be taken
throughout a student's program. Specialization areas with their
respective courses are listed below. With the approval of the M.P.A.
director, students also may take specialization courses in other
departments to fit their individual educational and career goals.
Students are not required to complete a specialization, but must
complete three elective courses. If a student chooses to complete at
least two of the three courses in a given specialization area, they will
earn a concentration on their transcript. This concentration is not
required, and most students choose to take three electives in various
areas.
